Policy is Power! 

BU-AAUW supports AAUW National’s policy initiatives and platforms, primarily through it’s Two-Minute Activist tool.

We have also written and shared our own statements in response to policies affecting women, such as a statement against the separation of families and detention of children at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Currently, we are:

• supporting University of Massachusetts Global’s new Pregnant and Parenting Scholars Fund, including its Fall 2022 scholarship process
• encouraging our members to communicate and learn from their local representatives about policies related to women and women’s rights. We are also inviting these representatives to speak to our branch about these policies
